PROJECTS & MUSIC COLLABORATIONS 

At the ripe age of 13 after, Mariam was commissioned by the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission of Australia to compose a song for their "30 Years of Multiculturalism" Project in 2005. Since then, she has recorded vocals professionally for projects involving the likes of Yoko Ono broadcasted on daily rotation on live National Australian television and later  in Scandinavia. Recently singing  on Artbreaks; a series of art films that currently run on Australia’s national broadcaster, the ABC’s, online iview, Mariam continues to sing for projects, albums, TV, commercials and other recorded projects.

THE BIGGEST LOSER PROMO

Mariam's version of John Lennon’s ‘Real Love’ earned her Yoko Ono’s official approval to be used on Australian TV series The Biggest Loser and then again in Scandinavia the following year.

At only age 13, Mariam Sawires was commissioned to compose, sing and perform a song for the Australian Human Rights Commission. The song "Voices of Australia" was used in the 30 years of Multiculutralism "Voices of Australia Publication - An educational tool to help combat racism and promote a culture of respect and equality among high school students around Australia 2005.
